My name is Jade Pualani Cohen. I was born and raised on the Big Island of Hawaii. I Have 3 brothers and 1 sister who gave birth to my two nephews, Zion, and Ezekiel. On my spare time i love to go to the beach, and hanging out with friends or family. The ultimate day for me could be a beautiful day out in the ocean, catching the perfect waves, hiking up a mountain to a beautiful waterfall, while picking delicious fruits, and smelling an amazing essence from a flower or plant that mother nature has supplied. I love being outdoors. I am absolutely amazed by nature’s creations. I love the stars, clouds, moon, and the rain. Im amazed by the Past and how much things have changed. I am a very laid back, down to earth girl. I love all kinds of music, meeting new people, and learning new things that capture my interest. Im usually a very happy person, and I pretty much get along with everyone.

Once i graduate from high school, i plan on taking a break from school for about a year. I want to be able to see parts of the world that i have no clue about. I want to see for myself how different others’ lifestyles are compared to mine. I want to spend time in beautiful places that blow me away, surrounded by good people who could teach me life experiences that could not be taught in school. Besides the traveling, i will be working and saving money for college, as well as spending a lot of my time surfing, and staying close with my loved ones. Im not too sure where i want to attend college yet, but im hoping that this traveling experience will give me a good idea about that.

One class that i always enjoyed in school was History. Of course i enjoy the fun elective classes because it’s cruise and allows me to be creative. But History always taught me so much about the world that i would have never guessed. It’s amazing to see how much things have changed over the years, and what things have remained the same. I love to learn about different cultures and religions, and how the government chooses to run things for their country. Learning about wars and huge events are always sad, but it’s good to be interested in learning things about the world, because after all you are living in it.
